“Pink – it’s my new obsession” declared Aerosmith. In fact, it’s mine too. Pink is the colour to covet this season.

Honey and Vanilla Beauty Products
When the sun shines in February it feels like Spring is finally upon us, full of grace. But it’s still rather chilly outside. So bring some warmth and sweetness to your beauty regime in the form of these gorgeous honey and vanilla scented products. You’ll feel nice and cosy and you’ll smell positively delectable! Delectable, in a positive way.
Perfume Notes: Jo Malone Red Roses Cologne
Buying someone perfume can be tricky as fragrance is such a personal choice (or ‘fun’ if your nose and nostrils enjoy acrobatics!).
The Little Pretty Things
It’s the little pretty things that I have the most difficulty resisting. I like to surround myself with eye-catching ornaments. Flippant fripperies.
Aurelia Skincare
When it comes to skincare, I like to keep things simple. For cleansing my dry, dehydrated and very sensitive skin that’s full of personality, I’ve long been an advocate of, what I call, the ‘Balm then Buff’ regime: a creamy balm cleanser massaged into dry skin which is then slowly buffed off with a hot wet cloth. It’s the best way to thoroughly cleanse your skin as the cloth also gently exfoliates and removes makeup perfectly.
Perfume Notes: Dior J’adore
Perfume is one of my favourite things. I’ve been fascinated in fragrance since I discovered Givenchy’s Tartine et Chocolat (or Eau de Chocolat) when I was a child. I like to think I have ‘The Nose’ as one of my party tricks is being able to identify perfumes while blindfolded! This obsession with perfume has led to quite a collection and although some scents come and go I’ve got some lovely favourites that have remained constant, like old friends.
Winter Beauty Buys
It’s absolutely freezing and the heating is on, which makes the transition from frosty outdoor walks to warm, cosy gatherings by the fire hugely satisfying, but a bit troublesome for your skin.
Best Products for Spot Prone Skin
Between the age of 13 and 18 I seldom got spots. And then, when I was 19, a mere 3 weeks before starting university, I suddenly got a number of big, bright red blemishes that wouldn’t go away. I knew I had to do something as I didn’t want my confidence knocked just as I was going to meet lots of new people at uni. Although I didn’t quite manage to completely ‘cure’ the spot situation, I got it under control using these products. Phew!
