Diptyque Philosykos

Admit it: you are craving a new pair of winter boots.

And you’re already thinking about blanket scarves… cashmere socks… and comforting apple crumble.

Delicious chicken pie.

And gingerbread cake that warms you through to your fingertips.

What was I supposed to be writing about today?

Perfume!

The best thing about embracing a new season through perfume is that you can continue to enjoy it throughout the year (thereby making it an economical purchase. Ahem.)

Autumn is best celebrated through fruity scents that correspond with your kitchen table. I really liked Versace’s Dylan Blue perfume for its apple and blackberry crumble notes, so it was no surprise that Diptyque’s Philosykos was next on the list.

Delightfully figgy and sweet, a single spritz will transport the wearer into the heart of laughter.

Philosykos is one of Diptyque’s bestsellers and it is instantly recognisable – someone you know will probably wear this throughout the year, with a smile!

It’s a robust scent, one that is playful and very long-lasting. It has a certain woodiness to it that balances out the sweet figs, making it a lovely, intriguing green-fruity fragrance.

Philosykos is the best purchase for Autumn – and, unlike a cashmere scarf, you don’t have to worry about moths attacking it.

Win-win.

Diptyque Philosykos Eau de Toilette 100ml £129.

Thank you so much to the wonderful girls at Diptyque for sending me a bottle of Philosykos. I am a fruit-fragrance fan now!
