A Poem for Every Day of the Year

A Poem for Every Day of the Year

Happy National Poetry Day!

I can think of no better way to mark National Poetry Day than to tell you about this lovely new anthology of poems.

Thoughtfully divided into a poem a day, the poems often relate to seasons or anniversaries as well as poems you simply must read.

Poets include my favourites like William Shakespeare, E. E Cummings, Robert Burns, Emily Dickinson, Philip Larkin, Maya Angelou, William Wordsworth, as well as lots of contemporary poets like Hugo Williams, Patience Agabi, Wendy Cope, Ian Mcmillan… the list goes on!

It’s a beautiful collection of three hundred and sixty six poems that you will love to read year on year. Each poem includes a short introduction so it’s great for reading to little ones or for families to share!
