When Acqua di Parma launches a fragrance, it’s time to pay attention.

And when the new scent just happens to focus on my favourite moment of Spring – the magnolia tree in full bloom – well, what can I say?
It was in my clutches within seconds! (Thank you for thinking of me, Acqua di Parma!)
It’s always a fun challenge to write about scent, and this is one of the most complex perfumes I have ever encountered.
The fragrance is soft, fluffy, and calming. Elegant and beautiful, at first whiff, I tilted my head, intrigued, curious to know more. I’m reluctant to use the word ‘musk’ because it’s off-putting, but the Magnolia Infinita celebrates its own supple subtlety. A single spritz represents a multitude of flowers, like dunking one’s head into a bucket of freshly-picked petals and being expected to pinpoint precisely what nestles up your nostrils.
It makes me think of lavender, yet the bottle promises a citrusy zing, which it definitely has, and has in abundance. It is fresh, lively and spritely. It has an unparalleled depth and, as one would expect, incredible lasting-power.
One bottle will escort you through the spring and secure its place on your dressing table forever, ready to perk up your day and night, whatever the season.
Acqua di Parma Magnolia Infinita £200 for 100ml.
My scent was kindly gifted to me by the super Acqua di Parma team.
