Continuing on from yesterday’s post, here is the Style and Design garden:
It’s a modern interpretation of an orchard garden.
I love walking through the different gardens at Hampton Court and thinking how we could all have gardens just like these at home!
Desperately seeking shade, we wandered into the Festival of Roses:
Always a favourite of mine!
Whenever I go to an RHS show, I usually get photographed under the rose arch…
And this was no exception!
My picture appeared on the David Austin rose website which was lovely:
This is an interesting garden: A Very Modern Problem Garden.
It illustrates the way we compare our ordinary lives to the filtered and unrealistic images we see online…
One half of the garden is quite a nice garden where effort has been made to create pretty borders while the lawn is covered with typical items found in a family garden, like a toy car and a table and chairs etc…
And the other side, through the screen, we see a beautifully manicured garden of our dreams!
I had such a wonderful day in the sunshine!
