Christmas Gift Guide

I like to think that this Christmas Gift Guide is a very realistic one.  While glossy magazines show us gifts in the region of £1500 +, this blog is different! Something for all price points (from £3 to a smidge over £50) there’s a gift for everyone.

Christmas Gift Guide Realistic

Homeware, fashion, books, beauty bits, all make fantastic presents.

So here we go!

A Nice Notebook. This one from the V&A is beautiful, slim and soft covered. Something that will be well received by everyone!

Perfume. Yes, it’s personal, it can be difficult, you can get it wrong… Apart from here. Dior’s J’Adore is beautiful, floral, smooth, deep.

It’s a very popular fragrance, so get ready for squeals of joy when it gets opened and spritzed about the place in delight!

Ladybird Postcards. A fantastic (and huge!) selection of the loveliest book covers from our childhoods!

Fortnum and Mason Royal Blend Tea. For the person who has everything and you can’t think of anything to buy, a little luxurious tin of tea is perfect. Just the ticket. Tea-ket.

If you’re doing a fun and thrifty Secret Santa this year or in need of a stocking filler, these adorable Paddington Socks from M&S will not disappoint, if you can ‘bear’ to give them away! (Sorry.)

Paddington Socks

Talking of socks, a smart set of socks for boys/men is the tried-and-tested best present. These are from M&S and great value for a tenner, without looking ‘great value.’

Ali Smith’s Winter is a must-must read. (Full review will be posted here in due course!) Other fantastic books can be found here.

Films you didn’t get to see in the cinema, La La Land and Bridget Jones’s Baby are the DVDs we’ll be gathering around after turkey and bread sauce.

National Trust Country Kitchen

National Trust Country Kitchen Apron is the gift for the baker amongst your friends and family. Blue and cream are the best colours!

Reindeer cushion

How beautiful is this Reindeer Cushion from M&S? Gorgeous.

Christmas perfection.
