The house and gardens of Loseley Park are something very special to see.
Although no cameras are allowed inside the house as it is still occupied by the family who have lived there for generations.
However, I only heard this after taking a couple photographs of the interior… (you know me, fast worker!)
So I’m afraid your imaginations will have to fill and furnish the rest of the beautiful building.
The gardens on the other hand are ready and waiting to have their photo taken, as (I hope!) these pictures will testify.
The gardens are designed into outdoor ‘rooms’. A walled garden leads to a rose garden…
Still clutching on to the Summer’s favourite offerings of fragrant flora (these were taken over a month ago, but I’ve only just been able to upload this post on here!)
It is nice to remember when the flowerbeds were bursting with colour.
But then, the white garden at Loseley might win you over to gardens with a smaller colour palette.
If we all concentrate and close our eyes, we can still hear the smell of Summer!
