Autumn fashion continues apace but this time in full evening mode.

Starting from the top: the messy-plaited hair.

Simply comb hair from the roots and make a central parting. Take a large section and divide it into three and plait. Pull it to one side and secure it with long hair slides and repeat for the other side! Tug at the ends a little to soften the edges.

For a simple evening look, I did a super speedy winged eyeliner (in one bold sweeping move) over the eyelids and drew a line of dots just under my eyes with my trusty black kohl pencil, and smudged the dots with my little finger to create a smokey smudged effect – like a pro! (Although I do love that trick and can’t imagine doing it any other way.)

I wore my new White Stuff outfit (soft navy jumper, festive red skirt, patterned scarf, comfiest blue ankle boots) but added in these amazing sparkly blue tights! Perfect for fun evenings out.

Of note, White Stuff have a truly lovely selection of tights and they would make perfect Christmas presents. It was impossible to choose a favourite!
