‘November skin’ – that’s a thing, right?
At least there’s something about finding ourselves firmly knee deep in Autumn (wearing boots up to the knees) that makes me think about skincare in more nuanced ways… with plenty of scope for luxury.
Skin needs a thorough cleanse. My fingertips act like rambunctious tap dancers across my face when I use cream cleansers, so the Eve Lom Cleanser (£55) is a great and gritty find. Full of skin-loving ingredients like eucalyptus, it cleanses deeply with built-in exfoliators without stripping the skin. Remove with a hot cloth.
Chanel Hydra Beauty Nutrition Nourishing and Protective Cream (£55) is a thick cream to replenish dry taut tight skin that needs a lesson in softness.
Chanel Rouge Coco Baume Hydrating Conditioning Lip Balm (£25) glides on like it’s on wheels that leaves a perfect pout. Over time, lips are better.
Finer skincare, I’m sure, would be hard to find.
