As our Summer begins to morph into mists, your beauty regime might like a change too. Here are my favourite products for right now.
Elemis Revitalise-Me Shampoo £20
I discovered this shampoo when I went to Cambridge and stayed in the Varsity Hotel: I was so impressed by the mini freebie bottle from the hotel shower that I had to buy the full size version. The wonderful aroma of neroli and thyme are released as you work up a rich foam that leaves your hair shiny, light and bouncy.
Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser £9.99
A great cleanser for very dry skin – it provides effective moisture while cleansing thoroughly. Plus the 99% natural ingredients mean that there are no nasties to upset your skin. An absolutely massive tube of cream for your money too!
E45 Moisturising Lotion £5.50
A very light milky lotion to moisturise dry arms, legs, hands, that absorbs super fast.
Clinique Cream Shaper for Eyes in Black Diamond £15
A creamy eyeliner that glides on smoothly and lasts all day. I like the hint of glitter in the black colour as it’s rather fun yet wholly suitable for daywear.
Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream SPF 30 Hydrating Colour Corrector £28
This light base is ideal for the Summer. Only a little is required for a glowy natural look. I love the entire Moisture Surge range by Clinique and I apply half a pea-size pump of this makeup on top of my Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief Cream for an extra dewy finish.
Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturising Lip Colour Balm in Mega Melon £17
A warm yet sophisticated red lip is so sought after and, for me, nothing beats this lipstick! One swipe of Mega Melon across the lips is enough to give a lovely colour; two swipes for more of a statement.
My dreams are full of creams:
Milky and gritty ditties little.
To plant on my face
all over a place
skipping and dotted aplomb.
