A few weeks ago I went to Oxford (again!) for the day to see the Oxford Literary Festival in full swing.
Keen to absorb as much of the infinitude of cultural activity that Oxford has to offer, we wandered over to the Ashmolean Museum for a few hours before my sister’s talk on her books ‘Catullus’ Bedspread’ and ‘The Poems of Catullus’ .
On to the festival!
The talk was a great success (and a sell-out event!) with a very welcoming and engaged audience.
After Daisy signed her books it was time to head home.
We left as the sun touched the tops of buildings, like a lighthouse sweeping across the sky and spreading a warmth to the lucky points that it catches.
P.S. Sorry for not blogging for a little while… my computer decided to go into permanent ‘Restart’ mode. Hopefully it will be fixed very soon!
