I spent our special leap year day in the glorious city of Bath.

The morning started with a very early train journey from Paddington to Bath Spa.

Thankfully we were able to explore the town in the crisp February sunshine at our leisure.

After a delicious steak and chips lunch at Brown’s restaurant (and feeling much warmer!) we walked through the streets of the centre.

I think my March bookshelves need strengthening after visiting Topping & Company bookshop!

My sister was giving a talk on her new books at the Bath Literary Festival, so obviously I needed to arm myself with plenty of fresh books… (my logic).

We left after dark as Bath Abbey chimed 8pm.

A wonderful day!
