Chocolate Oat Cookies

Double Chocolate oat cookies

I have a very good raisin to post this recipe.

These double chocolate cookies are so delicious and easy to make. They have a slightly ‘rustic’ texture from the chocolate chunks and oats which also give them a real crunch.

Ingredients
4 ½ oz butter, softened
1 oz caster sugar
2 oz light muscovado sugar
3 ½ oz self-raising flour
3 oz porridge oats
2 oz white chocolate, roughly chopped into small pieces
2 oz milk chocolate, roughly chopped into small pieces
2 oz raisins

Preheat the oven to 175°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4.

Cream the butter and sugar together using a large spoon. Sift in the flour and mix well.

Add the oats, chocolate and washed raisins and mix well, making a soft dough.

Form small balls of dough using your hands and place on a baking sheet.

Flatten balls with the back of a spoon.

Bake for 15-20 minutes and enjoy!

Thank you to Naomi for the recipe.
